Scott Storch!!!
Producer Scott Storch is expected to be a major player in the musical comeback of rapper Shyne, who was deported to his native Belize after over nine years of incarceration.
Storch exclusively told AllHipHop.com of his plans to craft a new album for the former Bad Boy.
"Yeah, Shyne's my man. I've been talking to him and I was talking to him all through his prison sentence. He's always remained a loyal person to me," he told AllHipHop.com.
He said that he and Shyne actually befriended each other while Shyne was in jail for a December 1999 shooting that left several people wounded.
"We became friends after he was already in [jail] and I found out he was a fan and he's just a hell of a cool guy," Storch continued. "I'm looking forward to doing, not just one record, but doing a chunk on his album."
To read more on Scott Storch and his current work, including more details on Shyne's album, read the two-part feature on Tuesday December 29 and Wednesday December 30. Storch also discusses his recovery from a cocaine addiction, his relationship to Timbaland, Lil Kim and his plans for a strong comeback, among other matters.

Flo Rida's ''Low'' Named Highest Selling Digital Song Of Decade
AntiMusic.Com: After bursting onto the scene in late 2007, Poe Boy/Atlantic recording artist Flo Rida has claimed a digital first. The Miami-based rapper's debut smash single "Low," from his debut album "Mail On Sunday," has been named the top-selling digital song of the decade with over 5.2 million digital downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In addition, his 2009 hit single "Right Round" ranks #11 this decade, with nearly 4 million digital downloads sold.
This isn't the first time Flo Rida has made digital history. "Right Round," from the rapper's 2009 album "R.O.O.T.S." remains the highest-selling digital debut of all time. The track also remains the highest selling one-week digital single in history, with more than 636,000 downloads sold its debut week.
The former one-week record, which was held by Flo Rida for "Low," ranks #2 all-time with more than 467,000 digital downloads sold in a single week. In addition, "Right Round" is the fastest-selling digital single ever, with 1 million downloads sold in just two weeks.
"Low" also ranks high on a handful of decade-end charts: #3 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, #4 on the Nielsen RingScan chart, #5 on Nielsen's BDS Pop Songs chart, #8 on Billboard's Radio Songs chart, and #13 on Nielsen's BDS Rap Songs chart.
Flo Rida has been nominated for two Grammys this year. "R.O.O.T.S." is nominated for Best Rap Album, his first time to be nominated in the category. Flo Rida is also included in the Album of the Year category for his contribution on Lady GaGa's "The Fame." In addition, Flo Rida is nominated for his second People's Choice Award for Hip Hop Artist of the Year.
What's more, Flo Rida was recently named one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive. The issue, which hit newsstands in late November, included fellow musicians Tim McGraw, Chris Daughtry, and Josh Groban.
Flo Rida is currently in the studio recording his third album, yet to be titled. The collection is expected to be released Spring 2010.

Comeback Season — Dame Dash FTW
Everybody loves an underdog and nobody was more counted out than Damon Dash when the Roc crumbled back in 2004. First, there was the short-lived, Universal-distributed Dame Dash Music Group, then, he kept it pushing in the fashion world for a bit with his ex-wife Rachel Roy (are they divorced yet? I’m actually not sure).
Sure, we’ve seen Dame with Jim Jones, helping to promote Capo’s Pray IV Reign; still, most folks didn’t expect the cocky executive to be back on top. But now, with a host of projects—including his new Blak Roc, Creative Control, 24 Hour Karate School, DD172 production compound—one has to wonder: is Dame on to something?
With old business models crumbling and most moguls already trying to look for the next Drake, Dash takes a different approach. Building a facility that creatively houses artists like Mos Def, Ski Beats, Jim Jones, The Black Keys, Curren$y, Jay Electronica and Stalley (don’t sleep on Stalley) doesn’t exactly sound like Jimmy Iovine’s, Lyor Cohen’s or L.A. Reid’s recipe for success; but it feels right doesn’t it?
Part of the reason hip-hop is suffering is that the shit has been feeling too manufactured for a minute. The same artists, rockin’ with the same producers, churning out same-sounding singles, recycling the same concepts; I mean, the shit has gotten real predictable. It seems to me that in order to make this thing exciting again that we have to take hip-hop back to its grassroots. Who knew bottle-poppin’, dice rollin’, Dame would be the one?
Most expected the former Roc-A-Fella Co-CEO to try to make another Hov, but truthfully that would’ve been a long road to nowhere. Instead, why not take dope artists that have been kind of ignored (for one reason or another) by the major machine and create something new and anti?
We already know that Mos marches to the beat of his own drum and Curren$y has been signed to big name labels No Limit and Cash Money, with neither working for him. Plus, Jay Electronica may be the most elusive artist EVER. But damn if they aren’t talented (I really hope this Center Edge Territory group project with the three of ’em comes out).
Back in September, when NYC was celebrating Fashion Week, I bumped into Dame in Macy’s and he was going on about this Blak Roc project, it sounding interesting as hell (XXLMag.com eventually broke the story—shouts to J. Gissen), but I had no idea everything would snowball into this.
The fact of the matter is that it’s still too early to crown Dame’s latest endeavors successful. Still, there is strength in a union of like minds. I mean, the old business model and major label record system is broken down already, and it seems in order to win and sustain and uphold artistry, folks have to try something totally different. I can’t say that I know exactly what Dame has up his sleeve next (seems like some of this is just being made up as he goes along), but in 2010 I won’t bet against him. NFL: Cincinnati Bengals' Chris Henry Dies At 26 Falling Out Of A Pickup Truck
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry has died, one day after suffering serious injuries upon falling out of the back of a pickup truck in what authorities describe as a domestic dispute with his fiancee.
Police say Henry died at 6:36 a.m. Thursday. Henry was 26.
Away from the team because of a broken forearm, Henry was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being found on a residential road. Police say a dispute began at a home about a half-mile away, and Henry jumped into the bed of the truck as his fiancee was driving away from the residence.
Police said at some point when she was driving, Henry "came out of the back of the vehicle."
Henry is engaged to Loleini Tonga, and the couple has been raising three children. Tonga's MySpace page identifies herself as "Mrs. C. Henry" and has a picture of her next to a person who appears to be Henry. She also has a post from Tuesday talking about buying wedding rings.
Neighbor Karen Clanton said the Tonga family lives in the house where the police say the incident began, adding that she didn't witness it and that "they're nice folks."
There were tire tracks on the front lawn Wednesday.
Henry broke his left forearm Nov. 8 during a win over Baltimore. He had surgery and was placed on season-ending injured reserve following the game. Charlotte is home to Tonga's parents.
The Bengals (9-4) lead the AFC North and play host to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

Another day, another rapper kicked off Lady Gaga's tour.
According to Rap Radar, Kid Cudi has reportedly been kicked off Lady Gaga's 'Monster Tour' for punching a fan during a performance in Vancouver last week.
The incident occurred after an audience member threw a wallet onstage while Cudi was performing.

Sharpe claimed he threw the wallet back up onstage because it wasn't his. Cudi then came toward Sharpe and began punching him.
It is currently unknown who will be replacing Cudi.
