The N.J. Nets Are On Pace To Be The “Worst Team In NBA History!”
Tonight the NJ Nets won their first game in 11 games when they won their first game of 2010 defeating the Los Angeles Clippers to avoid being the first team in NBA history to start off the season with 3 wins and 41 losses – the team is now 4-40.
The worst record in NBA history is currently held by the 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers who went 9-73…the only team that has been able to stink as bad in recent history was the 2007-8 Miami Heat team who went 15-67.

*Smh* 14 Year old boy admits to killing parents to avoid doing chores
(Jan. 26) -- It's not uncommon for a teenager to go to extreme measures to avoid having to do chores: Television and the Internet are far more appealing than taking out the trash and loading the dishwasher.
Nonetheless, most kids slog through it, if only for the sake of getting their parents off their backs. That, however, was not the case with a Colorado teen who police say fatally shot his mother and stepfather to get out of doing his household duties.
The 14-year-old boy, John Caudle, has been charged as an adult with two counts of murder. He is being held at a youth center and is due in court next week.
The case began in late October, when Park County deputies stopped a pickup truck in Fairplay. The driver, Caudle, was too young to drive, so police attempted to find his parents, who he said lived about 130 miles away near the city of Monte Vista. The boy said he was going to visit his uncle.
When the patrol officer contacted authorities near the boy's home, he was told that police were already at the house, which was being treated as a crime scene. Earlier that day, a relative had found the bodies of the boy's mother and stepfather, Joanne Rinebarger, 34, and Tracy Rinebarger, 38, on the bedroom floor.
According to the arrest affidavit, Caudle told police that he had an argument with his mother at home on Oct. 26. Afterward, he allegedly took two .22-caliber pistols from a gun safe and shot her dead with one of them. He then hid in a laundry room and allegedly shot his stepfather when he walked by.
"Caudle said the reason he shot Joanne Rinebarger was because he did not want to do household chores," the affidavit read.
After the shootings, police say, Caudle spent the rest of his day watching movies and playing on a computer. The next morning he took his stepfather's truck and drove to school. When questioned, Caudle's teachers told investigators he seemed "happy" that day.
Rapper Sues T.I. For Copyright Infringement Over Grammy Award Winning Song "What You Know"
Rapper T.I. could be back in front of a judge, but instead of criminal charges, the rapper is being sued for copyright infringement by an upcoming rapper.
At issue is T.I.’s Grammy Award winning song “What You Know,” which Nathan Filby aka Motoe Blizzid, claims T.I. stole.
Filby, who is being represented by One LLP, claims the 2006 track sampled portions of a 2004 song he made titled Reverence.
He claims that the track was delivered to a number of industry insiders before reaching a representative at Relentless Management, a company that reportedly works with T.I.
In court documents, One LLP and Filby claimed that the tracks contain the “same harmonic” range and lawyers even presented documents that showed an algorithm that claimed to show the song’s similarities scientifically.
According to reports, Filby seeks a trial by jury and all profits derived from the song, which was featured on T.I.’s hit album King.
T.I. is currently in a halfway house after serving almost 8 months in a low security prison, after he was caught purchasing machine guns and silencers in October of 2008.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Breakup, and Sign a $250M Split Deal!
s it finally over?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to go their separate ways, according to reports.
The Hollywood power couple are said to have been in talks with lawyers to agree a £205million split deal.
Legal papers, which the pair allegedly signed this week, reveal they plan to share their fortune equally and custody of their six children.
While the agreement will give them joint custody, the children - three of whom are adopted - will live with their mother, the News of the World reported.
The news comes after months of speculation that the couple - who are not married - were drifting apart.
Preparations for their break-up reportedly began in December when they visited a Los Angeles legal firm to begin thrashing out a deal.
Last week the National Enquirer ran a story claiming the couple's relationship had ended after a furious row at a New York restaurant earlier this month.
'Their focus is now on making a smooth transition for their children,' the magazine claimed.
'Brangelina' have not been pictured together recently. On Friday night 46-year-old Brad was photographed backstage at the Hope For Haiti Now telethon in Los Angeles without Angelina, 34.
His ex-wife Jennifer Aniston was there, however, although not with him.
A source told the News of the World: 'The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it.
'The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple's split.'
The pair fell for each other back in 2004 as they filmed Mr and Mrs Smith - a movie about a warring couple.
They have three adopted children - Maddox eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, and three biological children Shiloh, three, and 17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Neither are stranger to high-profile break-ups.
Brad split from Friends star Jennifer, 40, in January 2005 after four-and-a-half years of marriage.
She is currently linked to Scottish actor Gerard Butler, who she was spotted gazing at during the Haiti charity event on Friday.
Before Aniston, Pitt was engaged to actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Meanwhile Jolie has been divorced twice from Monster's Ball star Billy Bob Thornton in 2003 and Trainspotting actor Johnny Lee Miller in 1999.
She has a joint fortune with Brad of $322million (£205million) and their property includes mansion in France, California and New Orleans..
Last week they failed to show at the Golden Globes Awards - even though Brad's film Inglorious Basterds was up for several awards.

Burger King plans beer-selling Whopper Bar in South Beach!
Gimme a Whopper, fries — and a beer.
Those words are no longer wishful thinking. Friday, Burger King (BKC) will unveil plans to sell beer and burgers at a Whopper Bar — a new BK concept to compete with casual dining restaurants — in Miami Beach's tourist-heavy South Beach. The South Beach Whopper Bar is scheduled to open in mid-February.
Don't look for beer at conventional Burger Kings. That's not in the plans. But more Whopper Bars — which offer an assortment of burgers, toppings and beer — could be on tap in tourist hot spots such as New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, says Chuck Fallon, president of Burger King North America.
A brewski at the new Whopper Bar — served in special aluminum bottles to keep them extra cold — fetches $4.25. Or, order beer as part of a Whopper combo and your bill will be $7.99 — roughly $2 more than the same combo meal with a fountain drink.
The unusual move comes as the restaurant industry is reeling. Restaurant operators reported lower same-store sales in November, compared with a year earlier, for the 18th-consecutive month, the National Restaurant Association reports. Nearly 65% of operators reported a same-store sales decline in November. December results were unavailable.
Burger King's Whopper Bar isn't the first fast-food chain to test alcoholic beverages domestically. Last year in Seattle, Starbucks opened "15th Avenue Coffee and Tea, inspired by Starbucks." Beyond coffee and tea, it sells regional beers and wines.
By trying to wedge into the fast-casual dining arena with Whopper Bar, Burger King is chasing the 30-and-under crowd, which is the industry's future growth, says Bradford Hudson, marketing professor at Boston University. But the move is very tricky, he says, because "Burger King means fast food."
But Linda Lipsky, a restaurant consultant, says the move makes sense. "The Burger King customer is aging, so they're just trying to grow up with the customer."
The restaurant will initially sell Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors beers. "You can have America's favorite beers with America's favorite burger," Fallon says. More will eventually be added, he says.
But Lipsky says the chain will be challenged to train staff to legally sell and serve alcohol. "You can be an easy mark if you're not used to selling alcohol," she says.
Burger Kings in Germany and Whopper Bars in Singapore and Venezuela sell beer. But this will be the first BK brand in the USA to sell beer. (A Whopper Bar in Universal City does not sell beer.) "We're in the midst of understanding how much beer will be a part of the (sales pitch)," Fallon says.
The restaurant also will offer delivery of all items — except beer.

R.I.P. Apache by Ernie Paniccioli
Flavor Unit, a crew from Jersey. Hard core, street, original and fresh as Jersey Tomatoes. Naughty By Nature, Latifah (Queen Latifah then), Lakim Shabazz, Chill Rob G, Apache, Latee were the actual core.
Apache was probably the most raw and stunned everyone when his street credo became a hit. "Gangsta B**ch" is still used today in schools to define street poetry and how trans formative lyrics evolve from real experiences.
Apache and Almond Joy. Unlike many of the industry creations and fake gangstas produced by the labels today, everyone back then knew that Apache, Treach and Latifah would knock you the f*** out if you stepped to them and I bear witness to that reality.
"Gangsta B**ch" and "Who You Calling A B**ch" defined real life in the hood as good as, or better than anything before or since."
Peace, Ernie Paniccioli R.I.P. Anthony “Apache” Teaks

Kanye West Banned From George Clooney's Haiti Relief Telethon
Kanye West Banned From George Clooney's Haiti Relief Telethon
It looks like the actions of Kanye West in the past and his constant issue with checking his ego at the door hasn't paid off for the rapper even now.
In an attempt to bring as many supporters as possible to aid in the relief of Haiti, there have been countless telethons being conducted to raise awareness and donations for the country after the devastation that it's suffered.
Actor George Clooney is doing his part with his own telethon, but reports are saying that he won't allow West to participate in the fundraiser which will be broadcasted tomorrow.
Sources have added that they are going out of their way to ensure that West doesn't make an unwanted appearance, courtesy gawker.com.
“After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it's just best that he does not participate,” said a producer.
Where some blame it on his passion, others look at it as a little kid trying to just get everyone's attention while embarrassing others in the process.
“Kanye has to make everything about himself. He will do anything to steal the spotlight, and, well, this night it's just not about him.”
There have been no statements released by West.
Damn, first President Obama calls him a ‘jackass' and now he's not allowed to help raise funds for Haiti…smh…the past always finds a way to catch up.

T.I Preparing to Drop New Album
According to Rap-Up.com, T.I is returning to claim his throne. Less than a month after entering a halfway house, he's back at work recording a new album.
Jim Jonsin, who helped take Tip to No. 1 with “Whatever You Like,” will once again be involved with the project. Jonsin recently spoke with the rapper upon his release to an Atlanta correctional facility after serving seven months behind bars on weapons charges.
According to the producer, the King of the South hasn’t let lockdown dampen his spirits. “It doesn’t seem like he missed a beat,” he says. “He was so upbeat, his spirits were up, and he’s excited to be out and working. He hasn’t changed, he sounded exactly like he did when I talked to him months before he went in.”
T.I. hit the ground running and is already in the studio crafting the follow-up to 2008’s multi-platinum Paper Trail. “He’s back in the studio. I sent him some music via email,” Jonsin reveals. “He can work during the week and not on the weekend, I believe. He’s definitely working on an album for this year right now.”
The project’s direction is still up in the air. “That’s really going to be determined by him. We’re supposed to get together or talk more about it soon,” Jonsin shares. “But his last album was great and his sound already does really well, so I wouldn’t see him changing too much.”
Wacka Flocka shot twice in Atlanta

After he refused, shots were fired and he was struck twice. He is expect to make a full recovery. Wacka Flocka is known for his single “O Let’s Do It” and association with Gucci Mane.
New Supergroup "Mob Squad" Consisting Of Jay-Z, Young Jeezy & Trey Songz Working On Material While On Tour Together
Call the goodfellas the Mob Squad. Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and Trey Songz are getting ready to start the next leg of the BP3 tour and have adopted a nickname.
"The way Jay explained it to me, he wanted to give people the best show possible," Songz told Mixtape Daily Thursday. "They could have easily done it by themselves and it'd be great. But [Jay] wanted to give the best show. All of us bring a separate aspect to the table, making it a great show all the way. I'm there for the ladies, of course. Then I bring an R&B soul vibe and my hip-hop. Jeezy got the streets. And Hov is Hov.
"You gotta be there because it's action-packed from the jump," the singer added.
As big a venture as the trio will have onstage, they just might be doing it big offstage as well. Songz said they may do at least one record together.
"It's definitely all in the talks," Trigger Trey admitted. "It's the Mob Squad. Me, Jay, Jeezy, we plan on working together while we on this tour because the energy we have together when we get around each other is amazing. And like I said, all aspects like that on a record is amazing. Maybe while we out on the road we get it done."
Songz will definitely be working on his new mixtape and putting it out soon.
"I been in the studio. The first thing I did when I got back in the studio was the Rihanna 'Hard' [remix]. I explain how I go hard. As far as music is concerned, the grind is concerned, as far as women are concerned, I go hard. Then I went in and got four or five great records. That's actually four or five original records. I definitely want to release a mixtape to show people that [the skills] ain't went nowhere."

Janet Jackson Covers New Gotham Magazine.
On what she’s taken from Michael’s death:
“When you hear people say life goes on, it’s really the truth. You can’t stop living. It becomes a part of you. I feel a bit selfish because there are times I feel I shouldn’t be doing this, but I enjoy my work and I have to keep doing it. I have to keep my life going. There are days that are harder than others.”
On her New Year’s resolutions:
“I want to learn a language. I haven’t decided which, but it’s between French, Spanish and Italian. I also want to get closer to God.”
On her new album:
“It’s going to be a little different. The writing is about life experiences. There’s a part of me that’s craving escapism, which is a sense of wanting to keep on moving with my work but also of coming to terms with reality. So I think it will be upbeat and light.”
On her new book:
“I hope it’s inspiring for all ages. I’m talking about weight loss, confidence, self-esteem—especially in your youth. It’s not an autobiography, but there are little anecdotes that I give here and there from my childhood all the way to the present that I thought would be interesting and helpful to share.”
On what she loves about New York:
“Everything. I love the energy–the creative energy. I’ve been here for 12 years and I will be here for the rest of my life.”
