NyDailyNews.com:
A Queens junior high school reunion erupted in a bloodbath Sunday -
leaving one man dead - after an invitation went viral online and drew
hundreds of unexpected revelers.

Five others were shot, one critically, said police, who made no
immediate arrests.

Partygoers overwhelmed the reunion barbecue outside a private home on
145th Drive in Springfield Gardens, creating an impromptu block party
late Saturday night. A group of men on motorcycles argued with another
group of partygoers before gunfire erupted a little after 2 a.m.
yesterday, witnesses said.

"We're looking for one shooter," a police source said. "Apparently he
just opened fire into the crowd."

Detectives last night released a sketch of the suspected gunman, who a
police source said was likely a party crasher who had a prior beef with
someone at the party. The gunman used a .40-caliber gun.

Dane Freeman, 20, of Queens, died on the sidewalk from a single gunshot
wound to the head, police said.

"He was very respectful," said his sister, Latoya Freeman, 26. "He grew
up in the church and our family was very close."

Kendall Cheek, 22, of Elmont, L.I., a student at Nassau Community
College, was shot in the shoulder and grazed in the face, relatives
said.

"Kendall was standing next to the guy who got shot in the head and
saw it happen,"
said Cheek's sister, Kelly Cheek, 24. "There was
an angel there for my sister, who gave her a second chance."

Dominyck Jackson, 25, of Bushwick, Brooklyn, was shot in the leg. "It
just came out of nowhere,"
he said, leaving the 105th Precinct on
crutches yesterday after being released from Manhasset's North Shore
University Hospital and interviewed by cops. "Me and my friend tried
to run but I didn't get far."

Jackson said he wasn't involved in any argument at the party, and didn't
see who shot him.

Three victims, all believed to be from the neighborhood, were taken to
Jamaica Hospital.

A 23-year-old man who was shot in the chest, identified by a police
source as Felix Geemps, was placed in a medically induced coma. He was
reported in critical condition. A 21-year-old man shot in the leg was
identified as Daniel Smith. Danielle Hill, 21, who was shot in both
hands, was treated and released.

The party was thrown by three sisters in their 20s who live at the 145th
Drive home with their father, a source said.

The girls' father told the Daily News he was out of the house during the
party.

The party is an annual event, but the hosts were unprepared for the
massive turnout of about 300 people after word spread on Twitter and
other social networking sites, neighbors said.

A 24-year-old partygoer, who declined to give her name, said the block
filled with flashy cars and motorcycles.

"It was basically, 'I got more money than you; I sell more drugs than
you,'" the woman said. "I guess they were trying to impress the ladies,
show off. One group started revving their motorcycles, then the shots
went off."

"It's crazy," she added. "It went from laughing, eating and
having a good time to this."

Police are asking for helping identifying a man wanted for questioning
in connection with the shooting over the weekend.

The suspect, as seen in this police sketch, is described as a black
male, 20-25 years of age, approximately 5'8'' tall, wearing a black
hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Police Sketch + Video From NbcNewYork.com
